How to keep hair nice in the summer?

My hair is really nice in the fall/winter/spring but when the summer humidity and hot weather comes it gets all pooffy, curly and frizzy. It is normally preatty straight and silky/slinky. I now use panteen prov smooth and sliky, which works fine in the cool weather... What should i do or use? nothing 2 expensive please...i also wash my hair in the morning or night and let it air dry. It gets wierd if i blow dry it in a short amount of time so i usally skip it cause i%26#039;m busy.
