If you use it on wet hair, you end up pretty much boiling your hair; that can cause split ends, big time.


Your best option is to wait until your hair is about 97% dry and use it then.

i would do bone dry hair because it doesn%26#039;t say anything about being a wet to straight hair straightener anywhere on the website. if you hair isn%26#039;t completely dry then the straightener can fry your hair.
Reply:never use a flat iron on wet hair. you will be burning your hair.





while it doesn%26#039;t have to be 100% dry, i would only use it if my hair is completely dry or at least 90-95% dry.
Reply:Never use irons on wet hair! You will burn your hair dry which is not good its more damage than necessary. Dry your hair till you cant feel any dampness and then straighten it will give you much better results too. If you hear a sizzle that means your hair is still pretty damp.
