Lemon juice lightens your hair especially when in the sun, it will eventually make it an orangish color
Reply:ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOUR HAIR LIGHTER ITS SUPPOSED TO MAKE ITS SHINY.=)
Reply:this works for some people, but not all. it has a lot to do with the texture, natural color and quality of your hair. if its been dyed, it may alter your results form the lemon juice. in a spritz bottle, put staright lemon juice (bottlled juice works- doesnt have to be fresh squeezed) into it and mist your hair in sections. part the hair and mist the underside and on top, repeating in each section. lay out and position the hair so its as exposed as possible to the sun. this may take a couple of time to see results- if any. it doesnt work for everyone. be prepared for the hair to feel really dry and brittle.. a good deep conditioning should take care of that.
Reply:dont do it it turned my hair orange buy an 8 dollar highlighting kit at target or wal mart it works better trust me
Reply:You can use either kinds of lemon juice. I can%26#039;t say how much it will change your specific hair, but it doesn%26#039;t last long, so you might as well try it. I saw someone after they used it and it brought out their natural blond highlights more.
Reply:what a coincidence, I just put lemon juice in my hair... well, I have dirty blonde hair, so if all goes well, it should reach a medium light blonde. My sister used to have light brown hair, but after a week or so of lemon juice, it was strawberry blonde. I used regular lemon juice from a bottle, because i dont%26#039; have any lemons. just make sure it is 100% lemon, no added sugars or dyes, it%26#039;ll make your hair all sticky. you might want to mix the lemon juice with water in a spray bottle, to even it up. be aware: it cant be washed out, lemon juice takes the pigment itself out of your hair, leaving it lighter. so you%26#039;d have to dye it to get it back to its original brown. And just so you%26#039;re aware, this doesn%26#039;t work all the time, some times it works within a few hours, days, weeks, or not at all. Hope this helped!
Reply:Depending on your hair, you might get lighter streaks, not too much lighter, unless your hair naturally bleaches out in the sun. I think if you want a little more action, you should use 20 volume peroxide. With both you just place on a comb and comb through your hair. The thing about both products is that they require you to sit unprotected in the sun which will age your skin prematurely or even worse might subject you to skin cancer. Personally, If I were you and I wanted streaks, I%26#039;d go to a beauty supply and buy a streaking kit. Whatever you do, have a good safe time this summer.
Reply:lemon juice is an acid that eats away your hair it will damage your hair to forever and beyond. you will regret it completely. but if you really want your hair dry, dull, and split ended then have fun doing that but don%26#039;t ask another question on how to fix the damage because you are the one dumb enough to do it to your hair.
